We have a dedicated detailing and car preparation bay within the store. We can help organise work with any detailing company you choose. But our in-house specialist is Kyan from Black River Details. He started working life in a body shop and car restoration business before discovering detailing. With more than ten years’ experience and a fastidious eye Kyan provides all levels of service from a straight clean and wax to full ceramic coating and paint correction services. He also carries out our pre-store clean of cars coming back to storage. But if you’ve never used a detailer before we really recommend you have a look at the quality of his work next time you come to see us.
Kyan is also an expert in prepping cars for sale or auction, for photography or full concourse preparation.
We will check tyres and lights before delivering your car for its test. We charge one hour’s labour to take your car to the MOT station, wait while the test is carried out, and return it to store. We recommend all cars in our care continue to have such tests, even if they are age exempt. We can arrange annual or mileage-based services and deliver your vehicle to a garage or specialist or your choice. We can also manage more complex repairs, using our network of local craftsmen.
Work can be carried out on site by Mike Thomas Trimming and Dave Strange and Son who are considered by many to be leaders in their field.
