After a fantastic summer for most of us southern UK folk, we are back to earth with a wet autumn, and yes I am sure it’s much needed, but that doesn’t mean we have to like it !

Thank you all for your ongoing support and continuing to use our services. If there is anything that we don’t offer that you’d like to see us doing next year please let us know.

Moto GP

Moto GP saw the return of Marc Márquez, and him seal the championship early with a dominating season on the Ducati. Despite an alleged offer $100 million to stay with Honda his move secured his 7th Moto GP title.

The Paris-Dakar (in Saudi Arabia still!) ran in the hostile and testing environment of the ‘Empty quarter’. It was won overall by Daniel ‘Chucky’ Sanders on two wheels, but with so many categories there is something for everyone, and the 2026 rally starts on the 3rd January 2026. I’ve included a short clip of some of this year’s highlights. Some seriously skilful competitors if not slightly bonkers!

Isle of Man TT

I can’t not include the Isle of Man TT, another amazing year for many reasons, the bikes and riders keep getting faster and the average speeds keep climbing, average speeds around the 37.73-mile Mountain Course standing at 136 Mph + which is outrageous in any context. Michael Dunlop the most successful ever TT rider, added another 4 wins this year, taking him to a total of 33 class wins, and 51 podiums, and still going strong. That one hell of an achievement. Even if you only watch the first 30 seconds of this clip it will give you an idea of the phenomenal speeds and forces that man and machine are subjected to.

Goodwood FoS and Revival

Goodwood as normal, both Festival of Speed and The Revival dominated the calendar for us and a lot of you, as both members and visitors. Both wonderful spectacles in differing ways and lovely to see Goodwood paying Homage to Gordon Murray and GMA.

Our news

Our upgrades and updates have continued this year at both Petersfield and Farringdon. Farringdon now has improved LED lighting, painted the floors and 4K CCTV inside and outside which we can keep an eye on from the main office and from our mobiles.

Finally, a useful product we have come across and are able to offer from Nanolex, it is a new product is called Magic Windscreen Concentrate, I have been using it for about 4 weeks I find a bottle makes about ten litres (enough for 2 cars) It is £8.90 a bottle on their website, and we can source this with a 25% discount for you directly from Nanolex . This makes it £6.70 to CCS customers.

If you are interested, please give Craig a call.

From John, Mandy and Craig and Boston the CCS guard dog.
